The Purest form of Love!

I believe Loving God is Divine. There is nothing as pure as the love for God.

There is Father's Day, Mother's Day, Parent's Day, Teacher's Day, Sister's Day, Brother's Day and Valentine's Day to express love for every one. But unfortunately or fortunately we don't have any special day to express our love to God. I said 'unfortunately' because there are people who don't communicate with god throughout the year. And 'fortunately' because this gives us an opportunity to celebrate the love with god everyday.
Since this is the 'Month of Love', I just want to bring everyone's notice on this important aspect of Love. Don't forget to express your love and gratitude to God. We often pray and ask for so many things that we want in life but forget to thank god for what we have been given.
So this Valentine's Day, talk to god, tell him how much you love and do something special as a child to make him feel your love.

#IndoreSmartCity - Success and Learning side by side!

2015 started with doubts and uncertainty. I left my job after 10 years of stable career in advertising industry. Everyone was concerned or rather curious to know what I am gonna do now...and finally in September, I got the opportunity to take the challenge of ‪#‎IndoreSmartCity‬ project in my hands.

I still remember that day when I went for the first meeting at Mehta Associates with Kalidhar Sir. Nothing was clear in that meeting except one thing that I eagerly wanted to work on this project. And when things got finalized, I was asked to sit at Mayor House (Sachivalay).

New place, new team, new environment and new challenges...Challenge to associate more people on the social channels of #IndoreSmartCity, challenge to bring in mass contribution, challenge to get more participation in various competitions and events during the campaign, challenge to make people think and form a one common vision for the city, challenge to make people share their opinion on all the smart city parameters and above all, a challenge to secure position for my city 'Indore' in top 20 cities under Smart City Challenge round-I. Today, finally I can proudly say that all the challenges are small when you have big-hearted people with you.

If it's 'Love', it is worth a stand

We often say 'I Love You' but do you have the feelings and guts to put that 'you' before 'I' in your life? Do you have the ability to stand for 'you' when there is dispute between your mind and heart? Do you have the strength and power to fight all the odds and make 'you' &'I' into 'we'? Ask these questions to yourself. Know the truth and keep it to you. I am nobody to judge your relationship but to experience the true form of 'love' these are the basic requirements. You must know the feelings correctly before expressing it to anyone.

Love is all about passion and extremes. A mediocre love is never a love, it is just an illusion. Don't waste your time in living a substandard love. There are too many things where you keep compromising in life, don't insult the feeling of 'love' by making it an adjustment or understanding.

There is no other way to experience the divinity on earth than 'Love'. If it is not worth a stand, it is not 'Love'. Make yourself sure today before it's too late and you get the habit of mediocrity in 'Love' too.

This Independence Day free yourself from a fake relationship

In this era of pretentious living, we fake smile, laughter, words, feelings and even relationships too. All the relationships are based on some lies that we say to the other person and some lies that we say to ourselves. But most importantly, these days there is fakism in love relationships too. This thought is quiet disturbing for me, and I hope it is equally disturbing for everyone in long run.

There are many affairs that we see around in schools, colleges and offices. Everyone has one boyfriend/girlfriend. Still we see thousands of people registering on matrimonial sites for an arranged marriage. Do you know the reason why? Why affairs are not turning into a lifetime commitment? Why lovers spend years of time with each other but could not make it happen? Why love has a very short life span?

The fact is that there is no term called ‘LOVE’ that exists in these relationships. They are based on emotional, mental, physical, social or monetary needs and the biggest lie that both of them say to themselves and to each other i.e. ‘they love each other’. Love is about fighting for each other till the last breath. Love is about standing with each other in all the ups and downs. Love is about being passionate and focussed for one commitment. See the eternal love couples Heer-Ranjha, Romeo-Juliet, Soni-Mahiwal and you will realize what love is.

So it’s time to understand the true meaning of ‘Love’ and free yourself from the fake relationship. Think and analyze - can you do the same sacrifices that Romeo-Juliet has done for each other? Or do you see yourself at the position of Bhagat Singh who has sacrificed his life for his dulhan called ‘Azaadi’? If the answer is ‘yes’ then you are in a true love, and if the answer is ‘no’ rethink about your relationship. Say the truth to yourself and to the person you are in relationship with. Hope it will save you and them from the pain. If any one of you is serious it is important to stop this relationship at the right time and in the right manner.

Happy Independence Day!

Assumption kills Relationships

The moment you postulate in a relationship, you start building a room for misunderstanding. People do have ability to comprehend but it is not necessary that their mindset matches yours. Even your siblings who are born and brought up in the same environment are unlike you. Still you expect others to read your mind...huh!

Either we talk about professional or personal, relationships need legible communication to cultivate. For instance, in a close knit company where everyone was supporting, boss delayed the salary because of financial crisis and assumed that employees will understand him. Employees kept quiet believing that boss will figure out their problems and will not repeat this in future. This way for one month they assumed and it worked out. When the same act happened repeatedly, assumption turned into misunderstanding. And agitation had begun. Healthy environment transformed into cold war and faith got shattered. One by one everyone left the company on a bad note and still assumption existed in a form that both boss and employees felt they are right on their part. If that assumption would not have been there at first place and people would have shared things on one to one basis, relationships would never have reached to the level they did.

Here is another situation where assumption has killed the relationship. This time personal, very personal. Lovers got married after 5 years of affair. They were on the ninth cloud of happiness. But soon reality knocked the door. Marriage comes with responsibility, household work and family relationships. Girl assumed her man to behave like a boy she loved and boy assumed her girl to behave like a matured woman after marriage. When this did not happen, friction built up. And a healthy relationship of 5 years turned into a bad marriage.

Don't assume! Speak up and make your relationships flourish.
